Low U-value homes, built block by block.

We build energy-efficient homes exclusively with the Ecobrix woodcrete insulated concrete formwork (ICF) system. Wall U-values of 0.15 W/m²K or better mean warm, quiet, solid homes that cost less to heat from the day you move in.

Available for Hire or Partnership

From one cottage to a thousand homes

Whether you're a landowner, an investor, a housing association or a family planning a home of your own, we can deliver it with the same ICF build system and the same attention to detail.

Single homes & cottages

Self-build partnerships, replacement dwellings and rural cottages built to a high thermal standard.

Apartment blocks

Multi-storey residential schemes where a monolithic concrete frame brings structural strength, high fire resistance and acoustic separation between units.

Housing developments

Phased developments of up to 1,000 homes. A repeatable build method keeps quality and programme consistent across every plot.

Our build system

Why we build only with Ecobrix ICF

Ecobrix wall units are made from woodcrete: recycled softwood that is mineralised and bonded with cement, and pre-insulated with PIR on the external face. The hollow units are dry-stacked on site with no mortar and then filled with concrete. The result is a monolithic reinforced concrete wall wrapped in continuous insulation.

0.15
Wall U-value (W/m²K) or better, before any extra insulation
0.04–0.08
Typical junction PSI values (W/mK) for very low thermal bridging
90 min
Certified fire rating, tested to 4 hours at 1,100 °C
BBA
Certified, technically approved by LABC, and an ICFA member, so homes are mortgageable
  • Low U-values

Insulation wraps the outside of the concrete core across the whole envelope. Walls go beyond Building Regulations and can be taken to Passivhaus levels with extra cladding insulation.

  • Airtight by design

A continuous concrete core and excellent junction details cut air leakage and thermal bridging, which lowers SAP figures and reduces the need for renewables.

  • Thermal mass

With the insulation outside the concrete, the wall stores heat and releases it back into the room. Heating bills stay low and indoor temperatures stay steady.

  • Strong, safe & quiet

Woodcrete is inert and won't burn. The dense concrete core gives structural strength and excellent sound insulation between rooms and homes.

  • Built in all weathers

Units dry-stack without mortar and concrete can be poured in temperatures that would stop brick and block laying. That keeps Northern Ireland programmes moving.

  • Sustainable & durable

Made in Britain from 60% recycled wood that would otherwise go to landfill. Woodcrete won't rot or decay and is vermin and insect proof.

How we work

A straightforward process

  1. 1

    Conversation

Tell us about your site, your budget and what you want to build.

  2. 2

    Design & planning

We work with architects and engineers to make the most of ICF, and support you through planning and Building Control.

  3. 3

    Build

One accountable team builds from foundations to completion, with clear programme updates throughout.

  4. 4

    Handover

An energy-efficient home, ready to live in, with the documentation to prove its performance.
